Disability Action Week

Disability Action Week has been moved from its usual timeslot in July to the week of Sunday 14 - Saturday 20 September. The launch will be held in Townsville.This year's theme is "See beyond the disability" and encourages the community to focus on a person's achievements and abilities rather than their disability. It recognises that diversity and difference enriches communities and that people with a disability have much to contribute to their local communities.
